Storms

Downtrodden eyes cast beautiful storm light

Outridden masses clash before the sunlight

Breathe my fears the end is drawing near

We all know that it's death of which they whisper

And as I laugh my sons are thrown asunder

Forbearance speaks it's will to keep raining thunder

Crashing down all around, the ilk of men shudder

Here I stand my mind at home with my mother

And she cries, as I lie, in vain

I seem to go where the wind will not blow

Ghastly gusts grating through the ghostly gallows

Tossing and turning under perils and of plight

Night comes to me in the form of ease, holding me tight

And as I laugh my son is tossed asunder

Forbearance speaks, my will to keep hurling slander

Crashing down all around, the ilk of men stutter

Here I stand my mind at home with my sister

And she cries, as I lie, in pain

I see the winds feign to turn, beg to burn

Blustering bastards fail to learn not to return

Blessed disgust as we discussed by the cusp

All that we held had been turned against us

And as I laugh my son is torn asunder

Forbearance speaks, his will to keep casting shadows

Crashing down all around, the ilk of men hallows

Here I stand my mind at home with my father

And he lies, as I cry, absolved
