Is he on fire again?
Oh, don't worry about him
He's usually got some sort of plan
Unaided, I roll off again

What are you doing on my floor?
Surely you don't need help anymore
Swear I saw you smile at the door
Nobody cares if you're still sore

What good will a hug do the boy?
He knows he's loved, that's for sure
Why bother giving him that choice
What more could he ask us for?

Be the big boy I know you are
Stop hangin' out the window of your car
Pats on the back only go so far
Especially when at arms length like you are

You haven't spoken all night
I promise you, you're alright
Don't go giving us a fright
You wouldn't do it anyways

What good will a hug do the boy?
Doesn't do shit, that's for sure
Quit that act of being coy
We see you for all that you are

Why did you leave again?
Surely it's for the attention
I don't care if you are broken
So much for leaning on friends

What good will a kiss do the boy?
He can't love, trust me I know
What the hell could he be lusting for?
Give him space and nothing more

What good will a kiss do the boy?
Unloved and uncared for, that's his choice
Born to be broken and nothing more
Barely deserves to have that voice
